He wanted to refer a house to the Environmental Health Department
for inspection (nonemergency) before his shift ended. Received photos of the
house from him.
04/12/2021 Created a complaint and referred the information to Scott Sangalang, lead senior ALANIZ
REHS.
04/12/2021 Spoke with John A about this complaint. He received a call from Stockton Fire on SANGALANG
Sunday afternoon/evening. John was not required to make a visit. He forwarded
some pictures that he received from Stockton Fire. The house appears to be
vacant and partially boarded, but homeless break in and start fires.
04/16/2021 Received message from Ron Paoletti. He asked that I give him a call regarding SANGALANG
this property. He said that there are squatters in the house and that they do not
have electricity or water and needs to be posted Unsafe to Occupy. I checked the
complaint and no inspection has been made yet. I saw that the owner of the
property is Mr. Paoletti as well. I called him back.
I let him know of the housing abatement process and that we would be billing him
for the time spent on the case. He happily said he has no problem with that. He
said that he had been speaking with former Sheriff, Steve Moore, and he is the
one that told him sheriff probably could not do anything until house is posted
404.2. I asked him about doing a No Trespassing letter since the 404.2 would not
solve all his problems. I told him that a lot times, sheriffs do not catch people
inside the house to arrest because they have already exited the house by the time
sheriffs get there. He understood and still wants house red tagged. He said he is
planning to sell house anyway and the new owner would be the one to correct
violations.
04/20/2021 Reviewed the complaint and looked it up on permits plus. The fire inspection has SUSZYCKI
been completed and there were two previous cases on the property.
Printed out a a satellite image using Parcel Viewer.
5105. rpt
