b. The materials from an excavation shall not be deposited into any watercourse or in any way contribute <br />to the pollution thereof (California Water Code, Section 13376). <br />c. An approved potable water supply must be provided for all employees (Development Title Section 9- <br />1100.1). <br />d. Approved sanitary facilities must be provided for all employees (Development Title Section 9-1100.1). <br />4. SOUTH SAN JOAQUIN IRRIGATION DISTRICT (Contact: [209] 249-4600) <br />a. The owner shall be required to replace the existing pipeline and relocate it to a location along the <br />outer perimeter of the excavation. <br />b. The owner shall be required to submit plans to the district for review and approval by the South San <br />Joaquin Irrigation District's Board of Directors. The following are minimum standards and conditions <br />which shall be required to be incorporated as standards notes on the plans: <br />(1) The land owner agrees not to perform any excavation or grading within the SSJID easement or <br />within 15 feet of the centerline of the pipeline, whichever is greater. <br />(2) Excavations adjacent to District easements and/or facilities shall have a minimum 3:1 slope from <br />the excavated field to the top of the berm. <br />(3) The landowner will take such steps as are required by the SSJID Water Superintendent to <br />remedy any erosion on banks adjacent to the District's facilities. <br />(4) No soil will lie stockpiled over the SSJID pipeline. <br />(5) No heavy equipment will travel over the SSJID pipeline without approved bridging, with said <br />bridging to be approved between SSJID and the contractor. <br />(6) No trees and/or rubbish will be disposed of or stored on the SSJID easement or facilities. <br />(7) SSJID will be notified 48 hours in advance of any excavation work. <br />(8) The land owner agrees that the existing pipeline or concrete lined canal do not presently leak and <br />agrees that any damage will be repaired at the land owner's expense. <br />(9) It is understood by the applicant that the District shall not be held responsible to remedy high <br />water table problems created by the excavation. <br />(10) The land owner shall provide the District with sufficient fill dirt from excavations for the protection <br />of canal or pipeline and place the fill dirt as directed by the District's Engineering Department. <br />(11) Any irrigation pipeline or service structure (District or private) installation or modification <br />necessitated by the proposed excavation shall be performed at the land owner's expense. <br />Furthermore, the owner shall obtain a Construction Permit and a Structure Permit from the District <br />prior to installing, modifying, or removing any irrigation pipeline or structure on District facilities. <br />Additionally, a hydraulic analysis will need to be performed to determine the proper pipe size for <br />pipelines that are to be relocated to ensure that the same delivery head can be conveyed through <br />the new pipeline. <br />(12) New easements shall be conveyed as needed to accommodate the relocation of District facilities <br />and to provide needed access. <br />PA -0200370 — Conditions of Approval <br />
