VFF DEEP INJECTION WELL NO. 1
History of Logging and Testing Operations
3/28/90 Logging
Halliburton Logging Service rigged up to run temperature , CCL and
CBL logs. Checked temperature calibration and started in hole at
1650 hours, logging temperature and CCL from surface . Depth was
zeroed at KB, 14 ' above GL. Fluid level is indicated to be at
108 ' . Logging tool (3 1/8" OD) stopped in soft fill at 3 , 232 ' at
1820 hours. Bottomhole temperature is 107. 50F. Pulled up and
logged CBL and CCL out of hole from 2 , 750 ' to surface . Logging
complete at 2015 hours.
CBL shows good cement job on 7" casing up to 1550 ' (140 ' inside
surface casing) . CBL indicates poorer bonding above 1550 ' , but
this is typical of bond logs inside surface casing and does not
necessarily indicate bad cement.
3/29/90
No testing or logging activities.
3/30/90 Pump Installation and Production Test
Wilson Pump Company rig and crew AOL at 0930 hours and RU to run
test pump. Pump is a 6" (nominal) 20-horsepower electric submer-
sible. Ran pump in hole on 27 joints of 3 1/2" sch. 40 galvan-
ized T & C pipe, 21 ' per joint. Depth to top of pump assembly is
567' . Overall length of pump assembly is 8. 41 . Hung last joint
of pipe temporarily on horseshoe plate while bubble pipe was run.
Later , pump was hung on 7" tubing head with specially fabricated
hanger flange.
Began running 1/4" (nominal) sch 40 T & C bubble pipe in hole .
Planned to run 11 20 ' jts + 16 21 ' jts (Total 556 ' ) . While
lowering the 20th joint in the hole , the top coupling came loose
from the pickup nipple and the pipe dropped down the hole . The
fish consists of the following listed in the order it was run :
