MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -4- <br /> GOLDEN GATE FRESH FOODS, INC. <br /> VICTOR FINE FOODS <br /> TREATMENT PLANT AND <br /> CLASS II SURFACE IMPOUNDMENT <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Report in Sampling <br /> Parameter/Constituent Units of Frequency <br /> Chloride mg/l Quarterly <br /> Sodium mg/l Quarterly <br /> PH pH units Quarterly <br /> The Discharger shall determine at each sampling whether there is a statically <br /> significant increase over water quality protection standards for each parameter <br /> and constituent analyzed. <br /> WATER QUALITY PROTECTION STANDARDS <br /> Standards for Ground Water <br /> Waters quality protection standards for the ground water beneath the site will <br /> be establish upon successful cleanup of the polluted aquifer. Corrective action <br /> is currently ongoing at the facility and will continue until the ground water <br /> is cleaned up the satisfaction of the Board. <br /> Standards for Vadose Zone Soil-Pore Liquid <br /> After four quarters of sampling data have been obtained for the background <br /> lysimeter, background values for vadose zone indicator parameters will be <br /> calculated. Upon acceptance and/or revision by the Board, the background values <br /> will be used as Water Quality Protection Standards. <br /> REPORTING <br /> In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in <br /> tabular form so that the date, the constituents, the concentrations, and the <br /> units are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a manner <br /> so as to illustrate clearly the compliance with waste discharge requirements or <br /> lack thereof. <br /> Monthly monitoring reports shall be submitted to the Board by the 15th day of <br /> the month following the month in which the samples were taken or observations <br /> made. <br /> The results of any monitoring done more frequently than required at the locations <br /> specified herein shall be reported to the Board. <br />
