The notice advises that the Site's <br />tank assessment was incomplete and was not signed by an engineer. In the original response to the <br />County by Pick -n -Pull dated January 16, 2020, a Hazardous Waste Tank Assessment Report, <br />prepared by EarthCon Consultants CA, Inc (consultants to Pick -n -Pull) dated October 25, 2019, <br />was included that addresses the items referenced in the notice recently received by the Site. This <br />letter provides a response summary to the County of the two outstanding items referenced in the <br />received notice. <br />Hazardous Waste Tank Assessment is incomplete - #503 <br />Response: The notice advises that "Tank tightness testing results are not include in the tank <br />assessment for the four used oil tanks, four used antifreeze tanks and used oil customer drop-off <br />tanks." The Hazardous Waste Tank Assessment Report included in the initial response to the <br />County, stated as follows: <br />Discussions with the manufacturer indicated that tanks are tested for tightness prior to <br />distribution to the client. As noted above, the earliest tank was installed in 1999 and associated <br />tank tightness testing data is not available.
