Evaluation of Hydrocarbons May 17, 1990 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-2W <br /> storage tanks were previously at the site. We have no information regarding the contents <br /> of these tanks. It is our further understanding that one 2,000-gallon underground fuel <br /> storage tank may be located on the individually-owned property. <br /> Information provided by personnel of the City of Stockton Redevelopment Department <br /> regarding the area surrounding the Waterfront Redevelopment Property indicates that the <br /> neighboring parcel on the western boundary of the former Unocal bulk plant was formerly <br /> occupied by L & M Petroleum. According to information supplied by the City of Stockton <br /> Redevelopment Agency, the L& M Petroleum property contained six aboveground storage <br /> tanks ranging in size from 13,200 gallons to 108,000 gallons and seven underground storage <br /> tanks ranging in size from 7,500 gallons to 20,000 gallons. According to the title report <br /> for the L& M petroleum Property provided by the City of Stockton, Chevron U.S.A. leased <br /> the parcel in 1980 under a subsurface oil and gas lease. <br /> Previous Work <br /> At the request of the City of Stockton Redevelopment Department, Applied GeoSystems <br /> previously prepared a work plan for review by the San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services Department and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, to evaluate whether hydrocarbons were present in soil and ground water <br /> 3 <br /> Apn/ied GeoSystems <br />
