1 <br /> Evaluation of Hydrocarbons May 17, 1990 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-2W <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description <br /> The property consists of three separate parcels which are on the southeast and southwest <br /> corners of the intersection of West Weber Avenue and North Lincoln Street in Stockton, <br /> California. The locations of the parcels are shown on the Site Vicinity Map (Plate P-1). <br /> The property is 300 to 500 feet south of the Stockton Deep Water Channel at an elevation <br /> of approximately 10 feet above sea level. Information provided by the City of Stockton <br /> indicates that Union Oil Company of California (Unocal) previously owned one of the <br /> parcels and Morton Paint previously owned another parcel. It is our understanding that the <br /> third parcel has been owned by several individuals. The former Unocal parcel is on the <br /> northwest portion of the property. It is designated parcel number 137-260-08. The former <br /> Morton Paint parcel is on the southwest portion of the property and is designated parcel <br /> number 137-360-40, and the former individually-owned parcel is on the northeast portion <br /> of the site and is designated parcel number 137-260-07. <br /> We understand from conversations with personnel of Unocal that the Unocal-owned <br /> property was used as a bulk storage plant. No additional information on the tanks that <br /> were at the site is available to Applied GeoSystems. Information supplied to Applied <br /> GeoSystems regarding the Morton Paint parcel indicates approximately 10 underground <br /> 2 <br /> APP11490' GeoSystems <br />
