Evaluation of Hydrocarbons May 17, 1990 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-2W <br /> o Survey the monitoring wells and selected site features using the services of a <br /> licensed land surveyor. <br /> o Evaluate ground-water flow direction and gradient beneath the site. <br /> o Interpret field and laboratory data to evaluate the extent of hydrocarbons in <br /> the subsurface. <br /> o Prepare a Problem Assessment Report describing subsurface conditions at the <br /> site as revealed by the soil-vapor survey and in the borings and wells; <br /> discussing the local geology, hydrogeology, and ground-water usage; <br /> interpreting laboratory results;and summarizing our findings,conclusions, and <br /> recommending additional drilling to delineate hydrocarbons or remediation, <br /> if necessary. Preparation of the Problem Assessment Report will be deferred <br /> until after delineation of the hydrocarbons in soil and groundwater is <br /> complete. <br /> Site Safety Plan <br /> Applied Geosystems will perform field work on behalf of the City of Stockton in accordance <br /> with our Site Safety Plan No. 39048-1S, dated May 31, 1989. This plan describes the basic <br /> safety requirements for the subsurface investigation and the drilling of soil borings at the <br /> work site. The Site Safety Plan is applicable to personnel of Applied GeoSystems and to <br /> subcontractors of Applied GeoSystems. The Applied GeoSystems geologist will be the Site <br /> Safety Officer onsite. Personnel at the site will be briefed on the contents of the Site Safety <br /> Plan before work begins. A copy of the Site Safety Plan will be kept at the work site and <br /> will be available for reference by appropriate parties.
