Work Plan for Environmental Investigation June 21, 1989 <br /> Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-1W <br /> PROXIMITY TO WELLS AND UTILITIES <br /> One municipal water-supply well is approximately 1,700 feet east <br /> of the Waterfront Redevelopment property. Information regarding <br /> the surface location of the municipal water-supply well was <br /> obtained from the City of Stockton Department of Public Works. <br /> The City of Stockton is the owner of the municipal well . The <br /> municipal water-supply well was drilled and installed in 1972 . <br /> California Water Service is the other supplier of water in the <br /> area. Information provided by California Water Service indicates <br /> that the closest municipal water-supply well they maintain is <br /> approximately 5 , 000 feet southeast of the project site. The <br /> location of this well is shown on Plate P-1. <br /> In addition to the municipal water-supply well, six industrial <br /> wells are approximately 2 , 000 feet southwest of the project site. <br /> The wells are at Fiberboard Paper Company and were drilled in <br /> 1921 and 1954 . The location of the industrial supply wells are <br /> shown on Plate P-1. No other water-supply wells in the area are <br /> known to us.
