Work Plan for Environmental Investigation June 21, 1989
Waterfront Redevelopment, Stockton, California AGS 39048-1W
5030. In addition, the ground-water samples will be analyzed for
volatile organics using EPA 624 with extraction as described for
the 8240. Detection limits suitable for the tests requested and
for concentrations present will be stated on the laboratory
reports. Tests will be performed at a laboratory certified
the State of California for the analyses requested.
Gradient Calculations
The ground-water gradient will be evaluated to provide an
indication of the direction of ground-water flow at the site.
The ground-water monitoring wells will be surveyed by a land
surveyor licensed in the State of California to reference
differences in elevation between the tops of the well casings to
a known local benchmark, to within 0. 01-foot. Water-depth
measurements will be taken in each onsite monitoring well with an
electric water-level indicator. These data will be combined to
evaluate the relative elevation of the ground-water surface in
each well, the slope of the ground-water gradient, and the
inferred direction of ground-water flow across the site.
18
Apjn/ied GeoSystemS
