Decontamination solutions will be accumulated and containerized in U.S. <br /> DOT 17H-rated drums, or equivalent, for further characterization and <br /> disposal. Drums will be stored on 'he Site pending receipt of laboratory <br /> results and landfill acceptance. <br /> In addition, any item or vehicle brought onsite will be carefully inspected and cleaned to <br /> remove soil and/or vegetation before leaving the site. <br /> Prior to leaving the Site, all personnel, subcontractors, and/or visitors will remove PPE <br /> that may be contaminated. <br /> 4.0 Deliverable <br /> The deliverable for this project will be a Well Destruction Report, which will include a <br /> description of the work performed and a summary of the well destructions details and <br /> documentation. <br /> 5.0 Implementation Schedule <br /> Upon approval of the Site Investigation Work Plan by the RWQCB, activities associated <br /> with the Monitoring Well Destruction Work Plan will commence. Based on the need to <br /> secure County permits, it may take two to three weeks to complete this Task. <br /> Simultaneously during that period,negotiations and contract administration activities will <br /> commence for securing the services of a drilling contractor and analytical laboratory, and <br /> a preliminary field schedule will be developed based on coordination of schedules. It is <br /> anticipated that the field investigation can commence approximately five to six weeks <br /> following approval of the Site Investigation Work Plan. <br /> The well destruction activities will take approximately three days to complete, depending <br /> on subsurface conditions encountered. IDW samples will be submitted to the analytical <br /> laboratory for waste characterization purposes. It will typically take approximately two <br /> to three weeks to complete the laboratory analyses. Upon receipt of the finalized <br /> laboratory reports, the data will be reviewed, validated, and appropriate waste disposal <br /> practices will be implemented. <br /> The report summarizing the monitoring well destruction activities will be submitted to <br /> Isola &Ruiz, LLP and the RWQCB approximately four weeks after receipt of the <br /> finalized laboratory reports. <br /> Monitoring Well Destruction Work Plan 8 Of 8 <br /> DePaoli Property <br /> November 14,2007 <br />
