GENESIS ENGINEERING& REDEVELOPMENT <br /> • Advancement of exploratory borings and collection of samples for <br /> characterization of subsurface soil, drilling mud, and groundwater <br /> • Installation of Groundwater Monitoring Wells <br /> • Installation of a piezometer cluster for determining the vertical gradient between <br /> the upper most water bearing units <br /> GE&R personnel will observe field activities. All subcontractors shall be required to develop <br /> and follow their own site specific HASP. The subcontractors are also responsible for following <br /> all federal, state, and local requirements applicable to their operations. Upon request, <br /> subcontractors shall provide GE&R with a copy of their HASP, documentation of training, <br /> medical surveillance program participation, respirator fit-test records, and workers compensation <br /> insurance for all personnel conducting field activities. <br /> 2.0 PROJECT SAFETY AUTHORITY <br /> The following personnel are responsible for Project Health and Safety for GE&R personnel only <br /> under the HASP: <br /> • Project Manager <br /> • Field Team Leader <br /> • Corporate Health and Safety Officer <br /> In addition, each GE&R staff member working at the Site will be responsible for compliance <br /> with the health and safety procedures established herein as well as conformance with general <br /> safe work practices. <br /> 2.1 Project Manager <br /> The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day Project activities. The Project Manager may <br /> also act as the Health and Safety Manager on smaller projects, where appropriate. In addition, <br /> the Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of the HASP, as well as conformance <br /> with general safe work practices. <br /> 2.2 Field Team Leader <br /> The Field Team Leader is responsible for disseminating the information contained in the HASP <br /> to GE&R staff assigned to the Project. The Field Team Leader may act as the Health and Safety <br /> Manager on smaller projects, where appropriate.
