k'q KLEINFELDER 3.0 PROJECT SCHEDULE The proposed scope of work would be performed in accordance with the following approximate schedule. Approximate Task Timeline Week 0 Formal authorization provided by the client Week 0 - 4 PHS/EHD Permitting ' Week 5 Field Work Week 6 - 7 Chemical Analysis and Topographic Survey Week 7 - 8 Phase II ESA Report Preparation Week 9 Phase II ESA Report submitted to the client Kleinfelder has no control over the time required by a regulatory agency to review and approve a work plan and permit applications. Kleinfelder will make efforts to expedite their services. Z This work would be done by a subcontractor. Kleinfelder selects reputable subcontractors, but, does not have full control over the time required by said companies. Kleinfelder will make efforts to expedite their services. 4.0 CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND ASSUMPTIONS This proposal and the attached cost estimate are based on the following assumptions and responsibilities: • AKF Development will assist Kleinfelder in obtaining access to the site and owner authorization for the proposed sampling. • Adequate work space and access will be provided. Kleinfelder will attempt to advance soil borings and collect samples at the proposed locations. If the drilling equipment cannot be positioned, alternative drilling locations or sampling methods should be investigated. The borings are to be drilled with a truck mounted drill rig equipped with hollow stem augers, or sampled using a hand auger and slide hammer. If difficult drilling conditions are encountered, alternative sampling methods may be necessary. Soil generated during the sampling will be used to backfill the hand auger borings. • Soil and water generated during the drilling and sampling will be the responsibility of the client. Soil cuttings and decontamination rinseate will be left on site. Sampling and analysis of the contained soil and water may be necessary prior to disposal. Disposal or remediation options for the soil and water can be assessed once analytical results have been received. Kleinfelder is prepared to assist the client and to remediate or dispose of stockpiled soil and water, if requested, at an additional charge. • This proposal is based on the presumption that the client will clearly mark utilities and will provide any and all available survey maps or other data to determine the location of existing structures, underground utilities and services.
