5 LABORATORY ANALYSES <br />After collection, the soil samples from the borings and groundwater samples collected from the <br />monitoring wells and the domestic well were labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, and <br />immediately stored in an iced cooler. The previously noted soil intervals collected from each soil <br />boring, and the water samples collected from the monitoring wells and the domestic well on site <br />were analyzed as stated below. The remaining soil samples were placed on hold pending the need <br />for further analysis. The soil and water samples were submitted to FGL Environmental of <br />Stockton, California. <br />The soil sample collected from the vehicle parking area was analyzed for the following: <br />Organochlorine Pesticides, by EPA Method 8081A <br />Fumigants (including ethylene dibromide, 1,3-dichloropropene, and dibromochloropropane), <br />by EPA Method 8260B <br />Fertilizer constituents (including ammonia, nitrate, nitrogen, phosphate, and sulfate), by EPA <br />Methods as specified in the attached laboratory reports. <br />Carbamates, by EPA Method 8321 <br />Organophosphates, by EPA Method 8141A <br />Metals, by EPA Method 3050B (mercury by Method 7471A) <br />Chlorinated Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8270C <br />The soil samples submitted for analysis from the depression, AST areas, former washout area, <br />and leach field were analyzed for: <br />Pesticides, by EPA Method 8081A <br />Fumigants (including ethylene dibromide, 1,3-dichloropropene, and dibromochloropropane), <br />by EPA Method 8260B <br />Fertilizer constituents (including ammonia, nitrate, nitrogen, phosphate, and sulfate), by EPA <br />Methods as specified in the attached laboratory reports. <br />Carbamates, by EPA Method 8321 <br />Organophosphates, by EPA Method 8141A <br />Metals, by EPA Method 3050B (mercury by Method 7471A) <br />Additionally, the soil samples collected for laboratory analyses from the former fuel AST area <br />were analyzed for the following constituents: <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel (TPH-d), by EPA Method 8015M <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g), by EPA Method 8015M <br />Aromatic Hydrocarbons, By EPA Method 8270C <br />Fuel Oxygenates, by EPA Method 8260B <br />Chlorinated Hydrocarbons, By EPA Method 8260B <br />27125.E01 / STO4R181 <br />© 2004 Kleinfelder, Inc. <br />KLEINFELDER 2825 East Myrtle Street, Stockton, CA 95205-4794 (209) 948-1345 (209) 948-0621 fax <br />Page 12 of 23 <br />February 13, 2004
