I. A hydrogeologic and groundwater usage investigation (part of Phase I Environmental Site <br />Assessment); <br />A soil sampling program; <br />A groundwater sampling program; <br />A waste stream sampling program; and <br />A report summarizing all of the obtained historical and sampling information. <br />In the RWQCB's request letter dated April 26, 2002, for a workplan to investigate the soil and <br />groundwater at the subject property the RWQCB requested that the investigation workplan <br />include in part the following analyses of selected soil and groundwater samples: <br />Pesticides <br />Fumigants (including ethylene dibromide, 1,3-dichloropropene, and dibromochloropropane, <br />Fertilizer constituents (including ammonium, nitrate, nitrogen, phospate, and sulfate), <br />Carbamates, <br />Organophosphates, <br />Metals, <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel, <br />Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline, <br />Aromatic Hydrocarbons, <br />Fuel Oxygenates, <br />Chlorinated Hydrocarbons, <br />Volatile Organic Compounds, and <br />Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds <br />Total Dissolved Solids <br />Kleinfelder's workplan was implemented in phases with an initial Phase I Environmental Site <br />Assessment with conclusions and recommendations, to be followed with a detailed scope of work <br />discussing further soil and water characterization on the site with the items noted above. The <br />Phase I report (dated April 1, 2003) was completed and submitted. Coupled with the phased <br />approach previously discussed with the RWQCB, Kleinfelder addressed the findings in an <br />addendum to the original Workplan dated September 17, 2002, and Revised Workplan (dated <br />May 23, 2003) and subsequent addendum (dated August 18, 2003). <br />This report is subject to the limitations presented in Chapter 7.
