Site Health and Safety Plan <br />Countryside Market, Stockton, California March 21, 2014 <br />8.0 DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES <br />1. Personnel: <br />Wash face and hands with soap and water. <br />2. Sampling Apparatus: <br />Triple rinse in water; soapy water (liquinox)/tap water/de-ionized water. <br />3. Heavy Equipment (to be done by subcontractor): <br />Rinse with water, remove soil. <br /> <br />4. Level C Decontamination Stations (in order from the Exclusion Zone to Support Zone): <br />Wash and rinse outer garment, boots, and gloves; <br />Remove outer boots and gloves; <br />Change respirator cartridges (if returning to Exclusion Zone); <br />Remove inner gloves and outer garment; <br />Remove respirator; and <br />Clean hands and face. <br /> <br />5. The following equipment will be made available, or equivalent: <br />Emergency eyewash; <br />Soap/detergent solution and water rinse; <br />Soap gel or disposable wipes; <br />Disposable towels; <br />Plastic sheeting; and <br />Cleaning brushes and tubs. <br />6. Solid and liquid wastes: <br />Stored in properly labeled 55-gallon drums. Contaminated soil and groundwater <br />will be disposed in accordance with the project specifications under the direction of <br />the Project Manager. <br />HASP 21MAR2014 <br /> 8-1
