Project No. 014-13157
Page No. 6
Total petroleum hydrocarbons carbon chain (TPH-cc) by EPA Method 8015C;
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by EPA Method 8260B;
Formaldehyde by EPA Method 8315;
Organochlorine pesticides (0CPs) by EPA Method 8081A;
Chlorinated herbicides (CH) by EPA Method 8151A
CAM 17 Metals by EPA Method 6010;
Semi volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) by EPA Method 8270;
Krazan will implement industry standard methods and protocols for sample collection, sample
storage, transport, hold times, chain-of-custody, etc.
Site Safety protocol will be followed, including appropriate level of personal protection
equipment. A proper exclusion zone will be maintained around each work area.
A report will be prepared following completion of the field and laboratory investigation activities.
Investigation of Areas of Concern
TWO SEPTIC SYSTEMS
Two (2) borings will be advanced adjacent to the septic tanks or within the inferred area of the
leach fields of two identified septic systems of concern to a depth of approximately 10 feet below
ground surface (bgs). Soil samples will be collected from a depth of five (5) and 10 feet bgs from
each boring.
One (1) soil sample from each boring indicating the highest potential for contamination during
field screening will be submitted to the laboratory for analysis. If no soil sample from a boring
indicates the potential for contamination, the sample collected from 10 feet bgs from that boring
will be submitted for analysis. The remaining samples will be kept on-hold at the laboratory
pending analysis of the submitted samples.
Two (2) soil samples from the 4001 N. Wilson Way septic system area will be analyzed for TPH-
cc, VOCs, SVOCs, CAM 17 Metals, and formaldehyde.
Two (2) soil samples from the 3931 and 3975 N. Wilson Way septic system area will be analyzed
for TPH-cc, VOCs, SVOCs, and CAM 17 Metals.
DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME LABORATORY SUMP
Two (2) borings will be advanced adjacent to the influent and effluent sides of the on-site sump to
a depth of approximately 10 feet bgs. Soil samples will be collected from a depth five (5) and 10
feet bgs from each boring.
One (1) soil sample from each boring indicating the highest potential for contamination during
field screening will be submitted to the laboratory for analysis.
