Project No. 014-13157
Page No. 7
SOIL/DEBRIS MOUNDS
Sixteen samples will be collected throughout the area of the soil/debris mounds to various depths
within the mounds. One soil sample will be collected from each location.
The soil samples from each location will be combined at the laboratory into four (4) four-part
composite samples.
Given the unknown uses of the subject site over the course of time along with the potential
that the soil piles may include soils imported from unknown off-site or on-site sources, the
four (4) composite soil samples from this area will be analyzed for TPH-cc, VOCs, OCPs,
CH, formaldehyde, and CAM 17 Metals.
NORTHWESTERN AREA IN THE VICINITY OF THE STOCKTON 99 SPEEDWAY
Five (5) borings will be advanced throughout the northwestern portion of the subject site in the
vicinity of the Stockton 99 Speedway to a depth of approximately 0.5 to one (1) foot bgs and soil
samples will be collected from each boring.
The soil samples from each boring will be combined at the laboratory into one (1) five-part
composite sample.
Based upon the investigative data from the northern adjacent Stockton 99 Speedway, the
composite soil sample from this area will be analyzed for OCPs and CAM 17 Metals.
POTENTIAL DRY WELL OR SUMP ASSOCIATED WITH ON-SITE STORM WATER DRAINS
An attempt will be made to remove the steel plate identified as covering the unknown subsurface
feature. Regardless of the outcome of investigation of the steel plate, one (1) soil boring will be
advanced adjacent to the steel plate to a depth of approximately 30 feet bgs. Soil samples will be
collected from depths of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 feet bgs from the boring.
The soil sample indicating the highest potential for contamination during field screening will be
submitted to the laboratory for analysis. If no soil sample from the boring indicates the potential
for contamination, a sample collected from 15 to 30 feet bgs, depending upon field observations,
will be submitted for analysis. The remaining samples will be kept on-hold at the laboratory
pending analysis of the submitted sample.
Given the unknown uses of the subject site over the course of time, one (1) soil sample from this
location will be analyzed for TPH-cc, VOCs, OCPs, CH, formaldehyde, and CAM 17 Metals.
WOOD AND SHEET METAL DEBRIS PILES
Provided the debris piles reported to have been moved are no longer present, the ground surface
will be examined for evidence of staining or releases of hazardous materials.
Eight (8) shallow soil samples will be collected from a depth of approximately six (6) inches bgs
for screening purposes. The soil samples will be combined at the laboratory into two (2) four-part
composite samples.
Given the unknown nature of potential stained areas beneath the debris pile, the two (2)
composite soil samples will be analyzed for TPH-cc, VOCs, OCPs, CH, pH, formaldehyde, and
CAM 17 Metals.
KRAZAN & ASSOCIATES, INC.
With Offices Serving the Western United States
014-13157-Wilson Property Worlcplan FINAL
