Additional Site Assessment Work Plan
LEVAND — BRIGHT PROPERTY
3 East Eleventh Street, Tracy, California
1.0. INTRODUCTION
At the request of the Levand Family Trust and the Levand Bright Family Trust, Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this, Additional Site Assessment Work Plan
for the property located at 3 East Eleventh Street, Tracy, California (site). The work plan
outlines procedures for the installation of six (6) shallow-screened groundwater
monitoring wells and one (1) deep-screened groundwater monitoring well to assess the
lateral and vertical extent of adsorbed and dissolved hydrocarbon impact resulting from
an unauthorized release from the underground storage tank (UST) previously installed on
the western boundary of the site. The site and surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1.
On-site structures, soil boring locations and proposed monitoring well locations are
illustrated in Figure 2. The estimated lateral extents of adsorbed and dissolved petroleum
hydrocarbons are depicted in Figures 3 through 6, and additional site background
information is summarized in Appendix A.
This work plan was prepared as directed by Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (CVRWQCB) letter dated 23 April 2018 (Appendix B) and in accordance with
guidelines issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) for
investigation of UST sites.
2.0. SCOPE OF WORK
Based on the analytical results of soil and groundwater samples collected from borings
B1 through B8 during the May 2017 investigation (Tables 1 and 2), AGE proposes to
install six (6) shallow-screened groundwater monitoring wells and one (1) deep-screened
groundwater monitoring well to assess and define the lateral and vertical extent of
petroleum hydrocarbon impact to the subsurface of the site. The scope of work will include
the following tasks:
Permitting and pre-field work activities.
Pilot soil boring advancement and soil sample collection.
Monitoring well installation, development, and survey.
Groundwater sample collection.
Report preparation.
2.1. PERMITTING AND PRE-FIELD WORK PREPARATIONS
Applicable site assessment permits will be obtained from the San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) and offsite property access agreements will
