<br />Additional Site Assessment and Pilot Test Work Plan, California Tank Lines,
<br />3105 El Dorado Street, Stockton, San Joaquin County
<br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff
<br />reviewed the Addendum to the Work Plan for Additional Site Assessment and HVDPE Pilot Test
<br />(Addendum) dated 30 November 2018, submitted on your behalf by Innovative Environmental
<br />Solutions (IES). The California Tank Lines property is located at 3105 El Dorado Street in
<br />Stockton (Site).
<br />In the Addendum, IES provided clarification and revision on the scope of work at the Site, and
<br />proposes the following tasks:
<br />Install five groundwater monitoring wells, MW-10A, MW-11B, MW-12B, MW-13A, and
<br />MW-14B, and one extraction well, EX-1. A zone wells will be screened from 15 to 35
<br />feet below ground surface (ft bgs), and B zone wells will be screened from 40 to 60 ft
<br />bgs.
<br />Collect soil samples at five foot intervals, 2.5 foot sampling intervals if clay is
<br />encountered, for lithologic logging, and for submission for analytical analysis. Soil
<br />samples will be analyzed for: total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G), TPH
<br />as diesel (TPH-D), TPH as motor oil (TPH-mo), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, total
<br />xylenes (collectively BTEX), methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE), di-isopropyl ether (DIPE),
<br />ethyl tert butyl ether (ETBE), tert amyl methyl ether (TAME), tert butyl alcohol (TBA),
<br />naphthalene, 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA), ethylene dibromide (EDB), and total lead.
<br />Any soil samples containing TPH-mo will be additionally analyzed for volatile organic
<br />compounds (VOCs), serni-VOCs (SVOCs), and title 22 metals.
<br />Conduct a 30-day mobile high-vacuum dual phase extraction (HVDPE) pilot test using
<br />proposed well EX-1 as the extraction well.
