California Tank Lines - 2 - 30 January 2019
3105 El Dorado
Stockton, San Joaquin County
Central Valley Water Board staff have the following comments:
In the Work Plan, IES stated that wells MW-10A and MW-11B would be installed on-Site,
and that wells MW-12B, MW-13A, and MW-14B would be installed off-Site. This
description does not match the locations of the proposed wells presented on Figure 2.
Based on the locations presented on Figure 2, wells MW-10A, MW-11B, and MW-12B
are located off-Site, and wells MW-13A and MW-14B are proposed on-Site. Please
assure that in future documents that the descriptions of well locations and well Ds
match between text and figures. The proposed well locations are acceptable.
Prior to pilot testing, please collect and analyze a sample of the free product to
determine if the product if composed of gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, or a mixture of fuel
types. Please include this information in the Well Installation Report.
IES stated that B zone wells would be installed with screened intervals from 40 to 60 ft
bgs. Central Valley Water Board staff requests that IES reduce these proposed
screened intervals if warranted by encountered soils.
Central Valley Water Board staff concurs with the scope of work presented in the Addendum.
Please proceed with implementation, and submit a Well Installation Report by 31 May 2019.
Please submit a Pilot Test Results Report by 15 July 2019.
If you have any questions, please contact me by phone at (916) 464-4792 or by email at
q20,119 "?.
<ck'
'Vera J.
