f <br />Board of Supervisors -3- <br />THE SOLID WASTE CLOSURE ENTERPRISE FUND <br />In a related manner, the Board of Supervisors on July 25, 1989, <br />approved Board Order B-89-1031, which authorized the Department <br />of Public Works to apply for the operating permits for the North <br />County Sanitary Landfill (NCSL). One of the permits, a Solid <br />Waste Facilities Permit, requires proof that a closure and <br />postclosure maintenance funding mechanism has been established <br />for the NCSL. <br />The proposed Resolution would add the NCSL sub -budget unit to the <br />SWEF, and meet the above requirement to obtain the Solid Waste <br />Facilities Permit. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />Total Cost: <br />There is no fiscal impact on the SWCEF associated with the <br />adoption of the proposed Resolution. <br />ACTION FOLLOWING APPROVAL: <br />The Department of Public Works will transmit a copy of the <br />Resolution to the CWMB and the San Joaquin County Health <br />Department. <br />Very truly yours, <br />�%%. 4a-ZE <br />HENRY .
