Bozzano said the Commission has asked the applicant several <br />times about the groundwater and they have made these studies, and the <br />water table is 125 feet deep, and it is supposed to be heavy clay. <br />Comm. Carter said the County has to be protected as well as its citi- <br />•Foothillwouldseem tohavebeen good i • but <br />it does not seem to be living up to the expectancy of 300 -year capa- <br />city, it seems to be more • years. <br />Chairman Bozzanosaid there seems to be some •I •'testimonyon <br />the economics of the Foothill site. <br />Comm. Jungeblut said he would recommend this be forwarded to the Board <br />with the staff recommendations. • - • • <br />Comm. Gillispie said he did not think the "Jim Burnett and Family <br />Conditions" f • i:: be where theylisted.They should be assigned <br />Seligman.to a department so they would be responsible for them. He said he <br />concurred with Mr. Horton in his concern with Mr. Burnett's condition. <br />It is possible that the landfill site would get some contamination <br />from an outside source rather than from the landfill and the County <br />should not be held responsible for that. There should be some moni <br />toring. He said he would not put the wording in as suggested by Mr. <br />Chairman Bozzano said it was his feeling that there is not another <br />alternative. The groundwater has been addressed as much as possible. <br />Comm.
