Type II Work Plan - Addendum <br />UXO Construction Activities and Soil Removal Action <br />Preliminary Assessment/Site Investigation Update <br />California Army National Guard Facility <br />Stockton, California <br />Contract No. GS-00E-0071JTask Order W91238-05-F-0084 <br />Version 2.0 <br />6.0 SAMPLING EQUIPMENT AND PROCEDURES <br />The following procedure will be used to decontaminate sampling devices that can be <br />hand-manipulated. For sampling and hand auguring devices, scrub the equipment with a <br />solution of potable water and Alconox, or equivalent laboratory-grade detergent. Then <br />rinse the equipment with copious quantities of potable water followed by ASTM Type II <br />Reagent Water or distilled water. Air dry the equipment on a clean surface or rack, such <br />as Teflon®, stainless steel, or oil-free aluminum elevated at least two feet above ground. <br />If the sampling device is not used immediately after being decontaminated, it will be <br />wrapped in oil-free aluminum foil, or placed in a closed contamination-free container. <br />104700.4965.300 Page C FSP-7 April 2007
