Soil Boring Results and VEG/ISCO Work Plan
Field Maintenance Shop #24, Stockton, California October 2016
labeled. Laboratory analyses will be used to complete the waste profiles submitted to an approved
disposal facility. Upon disposal facility approval of the waste profiles drums will be transported off
site by a licensed waste hauler and disposed of at the approved, licensed disposal facility. Waste
manifests will be provided in subsequent reports.
3.6. Quality Assurance Plan
All work will be performed in accordance with this work plan, the Quality Assurance Plan and
presented in Appendix D, and an approved Accident Prevention Plan/Site Safety and Health
Plan (APP/SSHP) for the Site. The CA ARNG's Remedial Contractor will perform three-phase
CQC (Appendix D) for major definable features of work, and will complete daily three-phase CQC
forms, daily field logs, and daily health and safety forms throughout the duration of the VEG and
ISCO remedial activities.
3.6.1. Field Quality Control Samples
Field quality control samples will be collected during post-ISCO groundwater sampling as follows:
Trip Blanks will be collected for every cooler and analyzed for VOCs by EPA Method
8260B
One duplicate or one equipment blank will be collected per sampling event and analyzed
for VOCs by EPA Method 8260B, TPH-g by EPA Method 8260B, and TPH-d by EPA
Method 8015.
One temperature blank per cooler will analyzed to ensure samples are maintained
between 2 to 6 degrees Celsius (°C).
3.7. Remedial Action Reporting
Proposed remedial action reporting includes three (3) post-ISCO groundwater monitoring reports
as required per the WDR Monitoring and Reporting Program (MRP) and an Annual Remedial
Action Progress Report.
Post-ISCO reporting includes the submittal of 30-day, 90-day, and 180-day post-ISCO MRP
reports. MRP reports will be submitted to the CVRWQCB. MRP reports will include a summary of
field activities completed and associated results and findings, analytical results in tabular format,
groundwater elevation maps, applicable field documentation (i.e., field daily logs and sampling
forms), laboratory analytical reports, and waste documentation. Reports will be reviewed and
stamped by a California-registered Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE),
and uploaded to the GeoTracker system within 60 days after the completion of the field event.
Approximately one year following the implementation of the remedial actions for VEG and ISCO,
an Annual Remedial Action Progress Report will be submitted to the CVRWQCB. The report will
include a summary of the completed remedial actions, associated results and findings, and site
remedial progress. The report will be reviewed and stamped by a California-registered PG or PE,
and uploaded to the GeoTracker system, as required. The report will confirm adherence to the
WDR and provide recommendations for further remedial action or monitoring at the site.
3.8.
