AdvancedGeo
Environmental
29 March 2018
AGE Project No. 18-4345
Mr. Michael Kith
San Joaquin County Environmental Health
1868 E. HazeIton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Subject: Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan
DOMINIC'S AUTO TECH
435 North Harrison Street, California
Dear Mr. Kith:
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this Phase 11 Site Assessment
Work Plan for the property located at 435 North Harrison Street, Stockton, California
(site). The work plan provides procedures for the collection of soil and soil-vapor samples
at the site. The site and surrounding area are illustrated in Figure 1; on-site structures
and proposed soil boring locations are illustrated in Figure 2.
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
During the performance of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for the site, AGE
identified one active and one abandoned hydraulic hoist at the site. Additionally, AGE
identified a vapor encroachment condition (VEC) at the site due to an underground
storage tank (UST) facility located immediately north of the subject property. Based on
these findings, AGE recommended that two (2) borings be advanced in the location of the
active and former hydraulic hoists, and one (1) boring be advanced at the northern
property boundary to evaluate the VEC. Proposed boring locations are illustrated in
Figure 2. Procedures for collection of soil and soil-vapor samples are described in detail
below.
SCOPE OF WORK
AGE proposes to advance a total of two (2) soil borings to total depths of 12 feet below
surface grade (bsg) for collection of soil samples at eight (8) and 12 feet bsg. Additionally,
AGE proposes to advance one boring to a total depth of five (5) feet bsg for collection of
a soil-vapor sample. The soil-vapor sample will be collected from the proposed boring
utilizing a Summa Canister. Proposed boring locations are depicted in Figure 2.
837 Shaw Road • Stockton, CA 95215
Telephone (800) 511-9300 • Fax (888) 445-8786
An Employee-Owned Company
