GRANT LINE ROAD, TRACY, SAN JOAQUIN <br />COUNTY, UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK CASE #391842 <br />Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Valley Water Board) staff <br />prepared this memo in response to a request for "No Further Action" in accordance with the <br />State Water Resource Control Board's Low-Threat Underground Storage Tank Case Closure <br />Policy (LTCP), submitted on behalf of Chevron Environmental Management Company <br />[Chevron; Responsible Party (RP)] by GHD Inc. (GHD) for the Former Chevron Station #9-8632 <br />unauthorized underground storage tank (UST) release located at 575 W. Grant Line Road in <br />Tracy, San Joaquin County (Site). This memorandum serves only as a brief summary of <br />significant activities conducted at the Site in regards to case #391842 and as documentation of <br />the request for "No Further Action." This memo does not constitute a complete summary of all <br />Site activities. For a complete case history, one should review the files regarding this case on <br />GeoTracker at http://qeotracker.waterboards.ca.qov. The San Joaquin County Environmental <br />Health Department (SJCEHD) has no outstanding issues or objections regarding regulatory <br />closure, and all record owners of fee title located within 500 feet of the Site's identified <br />petroleum fuel plume were notified of the request for closure and given 60 days to provide <br />comments. Central Valley Water Board staff did not receive any comments regarding case <br />closure. <br />CURRENT SITE USE <br />The Site is located in the northeast corner of the intersection at Grant Line Road and Tracy <br />Boulevard in Tracy. The Site property is currently utilized by Tracy Motorz, a retail automotive <br />sales facility. The only structure on the Site is a mobile trailer serving as the sales office in the <br />northeast corner of the property. <br />CASE SITE HISTORY <br />In 1994, Chevron removed four (4) underground storage tanks (USTs) from the Site: three (3) <br />10,000-gallon gasoline USTs and one (1) 1,000-gallon waste oil UST (WOT).
