Limited Phase II Site Assessment Work Plan
NAVARRA FAMILY PROPERTIES
108,118,128 and 152 East Eleventh Street, Tracy, California
1.0. INTRODUCTION
Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared this, Limited Phase 11 Site
Assessment Work Plan for the properties located at 108,118,128 and 152 East Eleventh
Street, Tracy, California (site). The proposed scope of work includes the advancement of
four (4) borings for the collection of soil and grab groundwater samples. A site plan
depicting the boring locations is presented in Figure 1.
2.0. BACKGROUND
AGE has reviewed a previously completed Phase I (March 2013) prepared for the
properties listed above. Based upon the review AGE identified two Recognized
Environmental Conditions, which included an unassessed former gasoline service station
at 108 East Eleventh Street during the 1920s and the presence of an in-ground clarifier
on the car wash property at 128 East Eleventh Street (Figure 1). Based upon the history
of the site, AGE recommended an evaluation of "potential impacts to soil and groundwater
associated with the former gasoline/service station and the in-ground clarifier".
3.0. SCOPE OF WORK
Based on historical use, site assessment has been recommended to determine if
petroleum constituents have impacted the subsurface at the site. For this investigation,
AGE proposes to advance a total of four (4) soil borings for the collection of soil and
shallow grab groundwater samples.
The proposed scope of work includes the following tasks:
Permitting and pre-field work activities.
Soil boring advancement and sample collection.
Grab groundwater sample collection.
Boring abandonment.
Report preparation.
Each of these tasks is described in greater detail below.
