Box 1810
Stockton, CA 95201
Pursuant to Staff's 27 March 2006 inspection of the North County Sanitary Landfill, Regional
Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) staff has the following comments:
Heavy precipitation has caused significant erosion of the eastern side -slope of Module #1 and
#3. Repair to the eastern side -slope must be completed before next wet season. The
Discharger shall complete repairs to the eroded eastern side -slope before 1 August 2006 and
submit a report documenting the repairs, accompanied with photographs by 30 August 2006.
Other facilities associated with the landfill appeared to be in good working order with no signs
of failure. All surface water appeared to be controlled with the exception of slight ponding on
top of Module #1. Discharger should make the appropriate efforts to repair these areas.
If you have questions concerning this inspection report please call me at (916) 464-4737.
TODD A.
