Repair/replace. The light is turned off and gfci is <br /> functioning. Per service company the light is not used. If the light is not used it must be disconnected by an electrician and <br /> provide this department with a letter from the electrician stating the light has been disconnected. If the light is disconnected <br /> a sign has to be provided at pool stating no swimming after dark. If the light is repaired provide this department with proof. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night,pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in4-inch letters stating"NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS: 3 of the skimmers are missing the weirs. Install by today. <br /> 2 leave baskets are broken. Replace by today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br /> #32 Chemical Control and Monitoring System <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Unable to determine whether the disinfectant feeder is constructed and installed to prevent uncontrolled <br /> discharge or siphoning of chemicals and fumes directly into the pool. Ensure proper installation. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Chemical feeders shall be constructed with an adjustable output rate device controlled by an approved <br /> automatic chemical monitoring and control system that regulates at minimum pH and disinfectant. Chemical feeders shall be constructed <br /> and installed to prevent uncontrolled discharge or siphoning of chemicals and fumes directly into the pool, recirculation system,pool area, <br /> or ancillary facilities.
