CBRE I Business Continuity Management <br />Activation & Notification Process <br />Activations occur when a "serious" incident (as defined by Incident Notification Procedures in Asset Services <br />Global Operating Standards). A serious incident is a business interruption ()intermittent or sustained) <br />affecting the property management office lasting longer than 8 hours, and any one of the following: <br />✓ Extended power or equipment outage. <br />✓ Severe weather or natural disasters affecting the facility. <br />✓ Major fires or other severe property damage. <br />✓ Violent criminal activity, including workplace violence or protest activity at the site, <br />✓ Fatal accident or severe injury involving a CBRE employee, vendor/contractor or building occupant. <br />[Notification must occur within 2 hours of the event]. <br />✓ Contagious disease outbreaks. <br />✓ Accidental release of a hazardous substance. <br />✓ Earthquckes, tornadoes, or major hurricanes that require State and Federal assistance, <br />✓ A severe IT issue affecting CBRE's ability is provide service to clients (communications failure, <br />widespread network outage or critical application 'ailure). <br />It is assumed that minor incidents may be managed locally by the office. <br />In the event of activation, the local Crisis Management team must notify your local SMD / EMD. <br />For Internal Use Only C BR E <br />1 <br />
