Soil Suitability / Nitrate Loading Study <br />Morada Produce — Ag Processing Building Stockton, California <br />May 14, 2021 I, Terracon Project No. NA217014 <br />lierracon <br />According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer the site is zoned general agriculture (AG- <br />40). Based on a review of the San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br />website, the AG-40 zoning designation is intended to "preserve agricultural lands for the <br />continuation of commercial agriculture enterprises." <br />According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Stockton East (1987), and Peters <br />(1994) California Quadrangles, the elevation of the site is between approximately 60 to 65 feet <br />above mean sea level with a topographic gradient generally sloping towards the west. <br />1.1.2 Proposed Development <br />Based on a review of site plans the site is proposed to be developed with an approximately 37,800 <br />square foot (SF) agricultural processing building and additional septic system (Septic System #4). <br />1.1.3 Site Vicinity <br />The adjoining properties consist of orchards and/or residences. A detailed vicinity and topographic <br />map are included in Appendix A (Exhibit 1). <br />1.1.4 Site Map <br />A detailed site diagram map is included in Appendix A (Exhibit 2). <br />1.2 Present and Past Uses of the Site <br />1.2.1 Past and Present Site Use <br />Terracon reviewed the USGS Historical Topographic Map Explorer, Burnham (1914) and <br />Stockton East (1952, 1976, and 1987) California Quadrangle topographic maps; four historical <br />aerial photographs dated 1937, 1952, 1963, and 1975 provided by the San Joaquin County <br />Surveyors Office; and Google Earth aerial images dating between 1985 to the present.
