MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM -10- COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN NORTH COUNTY RECYCLING CENTER AND SANITARY LANDFILL CLASS III LANDFILL SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY 6. Unsaturated Zone Monitoring The monitoring network consists of background vacuum lysimeter VZ-1 and lysimeters VZ-2, VZ-3, VZ-4 and VZ-5, which are beneath landfill modules 1 and 2. Additional lvsimeters will be installed as more landfill modules are added. Soil-pore liquid samples shall be analyzed at the frequency and for the monitoring parameters specified in Table IV. Unsaturated Zone monitoring reports shall be submitted with the corresponding quarterly ground water monitoring and shall include evaluation of potential impacts of the facility on the unsaturated zone and compliance with the Water Quality Protection Standard.
