Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95202-0388 <br /> Subject: State Inspection Report for North County Landfill, (SWIS#39-AA-0022) <br /> Dear Ms. Heran: <br /> Pursuant to Division 30, Public Resources Code (PRC) section 43220, staff of the California Integrated <br /> Waste Management Board (CIWMB)conducted an inspection of the subject facility on July 27, 1999 in <br /> conjunction with Mr. Robert McClellon of your staff. A copy of staff's inspection report is enclosed for your <br /> records. A copy of this correspondence has been forwarded to the facility operator as well. <br /> The facility was evaluated for compliance with applicable sections of Division 30 of the PRC, and with <br /> Title 27, California Code of Regulations (27 CCR), Division 2, Subdivision 1, CIWMB Regulatory <br /> Standards for the Disposal of Solid Waste (CIWMB Standards). <br /> The following areas of concern were noted during the inspection: <br /> 27 CCR§ 20680—Daily Cover <br /> As the LEA, please continue to work with the operator to bring this facility into compliance with all <br /> applicable CIWMB Standards. Appropriate enforcement action should be taken by your agency as <br /> necessary to ensure compliance. Additionally, please document any corrections of the area of concern in <br /> subsequent LEA monthly inspection reports, including how compliance was obtained. <br /> ,Y r <br /> Agency's cooperation with staff during the recent inspection is appreciated.
