Y <br /> r <br /> 18 Month Inspection <br /> North County Landfill (39-AA-0022) <br /> VIOLATIONS <br /> No violations were observed. <br /> AREAS OF CONCERN <br /> The inspection identified the following area of concern with respect to Title 27, CCR, Division 2, <br /> Subdivision 1, CIWMB Standards: <br /> §20680—Daily Cover <br /> Solid waste was partially exposed in the area adjacent to the active face. The operator must be more <br /> diligent in making sure all waste is covered with 6 inches of compacted soil at the end of each day. <br /> Because the"day-lighting" of waste did not pose a fire, odor, litter, vector, or scavenging threat, the <br /> inspectors did not consider it a violation. Examination of previous monthly inspections indicate this is <br /> not a long-term or chronic problem. <br />
