0 <br />11 <br />0 <br />11 <br />a <br />11 <br />v <br />The objective of this Gas monitoring and Control Program Plan (GMCPP) is to comply with <br />California Code of Regulations Title 27, §20921 for Gas Monitoring at the North County Recycling <br />Center and Sanitary Landfill (NCRCSL). <br />NCRCSL is located at 17720 East Harney Lane, approximately nine miles east of Lodi. NCRCSL <br />is a single solid waste management unit, designated Class III, accepting non -hazardous <br />municipal solid waste, and inert waste. The property size of NCRCSL is about 320 acres. The <br />permitted refuse fill area of NCRCSL is approximately 185 acres, comprised of lined modules, <br />each constructed on an as -needed basis (Figure 1). Currently, there are three modules filled with <br />waste and the fourth module currently being filled. The maximum design depth of refuse is 54 <br />feet NAVD 88 (North American Vertical Datum) near module 3 sump. <br />3.0 MONITORING PERIMETER NETWORK <br />The proposed monitoring perimeter well network within the property boundary of NCRCSL is <br />established in accordance with Title 27§ 20925. <br />I. SOIL GAS WELL <br />The monitoringwell perimeter network of NCRCSL consists of 18 perimeter monitoring <br />p <br />soil gas wells (Figure 1). These wells are NCRCSL's point of compliance for off-site <br />migration of methane. <br />All monitoring perimeter soil gas wells will be triple probe (Figures 2, and 3). Six soil <br />gas wells are existing and 12 new soil gas are proposed (Table 1). Well logs of existing <br />soil gas wells are in Appendix B. <br />A. Well Location <br />All soil gas wells are located outside the limit of refuse (Figure 1). <br />B. Well Spacing <br />The lateral spacing of monitoring perimeter soil gas well is less than 1000 feet <br />(Figure1).
