0 a <br />TRACY MATERIALS RECOVERY & TRANSFER FACILITY <br />RFI AMENDMENT NO. 3 <br />wastes will be encased by shrink wrap as proper storage to mitigate breakage <br />during collection and hauling to an authorized recycler. Bins, boxes, or other <br />containers may be used to package these wastes. The Facility is a registered <br />CRT Handler with the Department of Toxic Substance Control. Regulations <br />(22CCR, Section 66273.35) require large quantity handlers (greater than 5,000 <br />kg. at any one time) comply with: <br />• Storage less than 90 days <br />• Marking or labeling receipt date, <br />• Inventory control system, and <br />• Maintaining a specific accumulation area. <br />YARD WASTE COMPOSTING AREA: <br />Figure 3 — Preliminary Site Plan has been amended to show the Site Plan <br />modifications to the yard waste composting area. <br />WOOD WASTE PROCESSING AREA: <br />Figure 3 — Preliminary Site Plan has been amended to show the Site Plan <br />modifications to the wood waste processing area. <br />The load checking plan has been amended to include treated wood waste <br />(TWW) and CCA wood waste. TTW and CCA wood wastes are not accepted at <br />the facility. <br />Figure 3 — Preliminary Site Plan and Figure 7 — Preliminary Floor Plan have <br />been amended to show the footprint of the building addition. Additionally Figure <br />Al and Figure A2 by Roger J. Wilson Architect have also been provided to show <br />the plan view and profile of the Building Addition. The building will constructed <br />with a concrete slab floor with metal siding and roof. The building will add 11,950 <br />square feet of floor space and will house a paper baler, and will be approximately <br />37 feet tall. <br />The Building Addition has been anticipated by Tracy Material Recovery and <br />Transfer Station since 1993 and was included in the Draft Environmental Impact <br />Report — SCH # 93042093 on pages 11 and 13. As stated in the fourth <br />paragraph on page 11: <br />"The applicant anticipates that this building may ultimately expanded to <br />the north and west to accommodate additional volume in the future" <br />As stated in the second and fourth paragraph on page 13: <br />EDGAR & ASSOCIATES, INC. 4 APRIL 14, 2006 <br />
