TRACY MATERIALS RECOVERY & TRANSFER FACILITY <br />RFI AMENDMENT NO. 3 <br />"Separated recyclables are then baled or stored in bins until shipped off <br />the site to various markets". Paper, plastic, and cardboard will be baled and <br />stored for off-site shipments to markets." <br />The building is being expanded to handle the volume of source -separated <br />cardboard, newspaper and other clean fibers. The clean material will be <br />delivered from the adjacent Material Recovery Facility processing line and stored <br />within the building, or be tipped directly from source -separated loads of clean <br />material with less than 10% residuals, and less than 1 % putrescibles. The <br />operator will not conduct any additional sorting of the material since only clean <br />material will be stored and then baled within the building. No garbage or <br />municipal solid wastes or other types of waste materials will be delivered, sorted, <br />processed, or stored in the building. <br />The in -feed conveyor to the baler will be installed prior to the construction of the <br />building addition, and there may be a period of up to 8 weeks where the clean <br />fiber material will be placed on the concerte pad prior to being placed on the <br />infeed conveyor, until the building addition is constructed. <br />EDGAR & ASSOCIATES, INC. 5 APRIL 14, 2006 <br />
