hydrocarbons (gasoline) remain in the Site's ground-water plume. Advanced
GeoEnvironmental also stated that, "due to the lack of available exposure route to the
deeper impacted soil below the site grade and the fine soil type near the upper ten feet
of soil section at the site, no direct exposure (soil or soil vapor) is anticipated." The
case was issued a "No Further Action" letter by the Central Valley Regional Water
Quality Control Board in 2010. More detailed investigation and discussion of the case,
remediation, and current conditions are beyond the scope of this report.
On-Site Wells
No wells are located on the Site; the future development will receive municipal water
service. No well permits were identified for the Site from among the files of the San
Joaquin County Environmental Health Department.
Water Sample
No water sample was collected as part of this investigation.
Soil Profile and Geologic Information
The Site is depicted on the Preliminary geologic map showing Quaternary deposits of
the Lodi quadrangle, California (Marchand and Atwater, 1979). The Site is depicted
within a map unit of Holocene alluvium, described as "channel, levee, and floodplain
deposits; chiefly silt and clay with fine sand along principal drainageways" (Plate 8).
The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the USDA Web
Soil Survey to be composed of Sailboat silt loam (Plate 9) (USDA, 2020). The table
below presents some selected properties of this soil:
Table 1.
