Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
maps of Nitrate - Land Use Data and DBCP- Land Use Data dated February 20,
2019. According to the maps, no wells in the immediate vicinity of the Site have
been tested for either constituent. Within two miles of the Site, 16 wells were
tested for nitrate (Plate 4); nitrate was detected in 11 of the wells at
concentrations between 0.1 and 5.0 mg/L-N and in two of the wells at
concentrations between 5.1 and 10.0 mg/L-N; no nitrate was detected in the
remaining three wells. Within two miles of the Site, seven wells were tested for
dibromochloropropane (DBCP) (Plate 5); no DBCP was detected in any of the
wells.
The Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) set by the US EPA for nitrate is 10
mg/L-N; the MCL for DBCP is 0.2 µg/L. Neither nitrate nor DBCP appears to be
of concern for existing wells in the area.
7.3 Agricultural Commissioner's Records
The Site has not been used for agriculture in the recent past. No inquiries were
made regarding agricultural chemical application.
7.4 California Geologic Energy Management Division Records
The California Geologic Energy Management Division (CaIGEM) Well Finder
website was queried on July 27, 2021 for mapped oil or gas wells within one-
quarter mile of the subject Site. No oil or gas wells were identified within the
search radius.
7.5 National Pipeline Mapping System Database
Live Oak reviewed the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) Public Viewer
on July 27, 2021 for evidence of hazardous materials pipelines within one-quarter
mile of the Site. The NPMS does not depict any hazardous materials pipelines
within the search radius. Local pipelines which are not mapped by the NPMS
may be present in the area, however.
LOGE 2139 6
