7.2 Environmental Health Department Databases
Live Oak reviewed the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Cleanup, Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste Generators, Underground
Storage Tanks, Aboveground Storage Tanks, and Complaints databases, dated
April 2021, for facilities of concern within one-quarter mile of the Site. The
subject Site was not included on any of the databases. Ten listed sites were
identified within the search radius:
• Irvyn/Erwin Sandau, 2050/2058 S. Sinclair, Underground Storage Tanks
list, approximately 900 feet south of the Site. According to records
available from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department,
two underground fuel storage tanks were removed from this property in
1988. San Joaquin County Public Health Services issued a "no further
action" letter for the tank excavation in 1995.
• Ever Ready Auto Repair, 1608 S. Adelbert, Hazardous Waste Generators
list, approximately one-quarter mile northwest of the Site.
• D&J Dismantlers, 1984 S. Adelbert, Hazardous Waste Generators list,
approximately one-quarter mile southwest of the Site.
• Interstate Truck Center, 2110 S. Sinclair, Hazardous Materials and
Aboveground Storage Tanks lists, approximately one-quarter mile south of
the Site.
• Costco Wholesale, 2115 S. Sinclair, Hazardous Waste Generators list,
approximately one-quarter mile south of the Site
• 1998 Adelbert, 1996 incident of oil that drained from a vehicle into the
street, approximately 750 feet southwest of the Site.
• 4701 Farmington, 2005 incident of sewage that spilled onto the ground
and into the storm drain, approximately 430 feet southwest of the Site
• 1720 S. Olive, 1993 incident regarding clandestine drug lab waste,
approximately one-quarter mile northwest of the Site.
• 1806 S. Olive, 1995 incident of motor oil dumped on the ground,
approximately one-quarter mile northwest of the Site.
• 1853 S. Sinclair, 2010 incident of waste solvent poured on driveway,
approximately 200 feet northwest of the Site.
Based on the types of listings and the distances from the Site, these facilities are
not anticipated to have impacted the Site.
Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Haz Mat Viewer on July 27, 2021 for
the Site and any nearby facilities with hazardous materials inventories. The Site
was not marked as a hazardous materials facility. One hazardous materials
facility was identified within one-quarter mile of the Site:
• Costco Wholesale, 2115 S. Sinclair, discussed above.
LOGE 2139 5
