The existing septic <br /> systems and leach fields (filter beds) extend to the north of the larger dwelling and to the <br /> south of the smaller dwelling. Both leach fields are located over 100 feet from each of the <br /> domestic wells on the property (Figure 2; Appendix B). <br /> The proposed septic system is planned to be installed in the south-central area of the <br /> subject property (Figure 2). The proposed septic system will consist, at a minimum of a <br /> 1,200-gallon septic tank with two compartments and a 1,000-square foot filter bed. The <br /> septic system will be connected to the three-bedroom modular home planned to be <br /> developed on the property and will be utilized 365 days a year. <br /> 3.1 . EXISTING ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> The septic system servicing the larger residential structure on the western side of the <br /> subject property consists of a 2,000-gallon septic tank with two compartments, three (3) <br /> 80-foot-long leach lines, and three 36-inch diameter, 25-foot-deep seepage pits located <br /> southwest of the residence. The septic system servicing the smaller residential structure <br /> on the eastern side of the subject property consists of an approximately 1200-gallon <br /> septic tank with two (2) compartments and is located south of the residence. The system <br /> serving the larger residence is permitted for a five-bedroom house and the system serving <br /> the smaller residence is permitted for a three-bedroom house. Both systems are utilized <br /> 365 days/year (Appendix B). <br /> 3.2. SITE SEPTIC PERMIT HISTORY <br /> One liquid wastewater septic permit is on record at the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the larger residence on the west side of the <br /> subject property. EHD permit SR0064389 dated February 2012 is on record for 12523 <br /> Mundy Lane, Lodi, California for installation of a new residential septic system consisting <br /> of a 2,000-gallon septic tank with two compartments, three (3) 80-foot-long leach lines, <br /> and three (3) 36-inch diameter, 25-foot-deep seepage pits (Appendix B). <br /> One liquid wastewater septic permit is on record at the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD) for the smaller residence on the east side of the <br /> subject property. EHD permit 79-1000 dated November 1979 is on record for 12511 <br /> Mundy Lane, Lodi, California for the installation of a septic system (Appendix B). <br /> 3.3. ON-SITE SEPTIC TANK REPAIR HISTORY <br /> There are no septic wastewater repair permits on file at the EHD. <br />
