1. Welcome
a. Intro Debbie Guerrero & Lily Aman
- Introduced Debbie Guerrero, the new member of the HR team to the safety committee.
- Debbie will be joining us at our safety committee meetings moving forward. Safety committee members may come
to Debbie with any questions relating to safety as well.
- Lily Aman will be rejoining the safety committee as the representative for the Stockton ASET Center.
- Welcome, Debbie & Lily!
2. Building Inspection Reports
a. Update on this month's inspections
As always, please remember to submit your March inspections as soon as possible, if you have not done so yet.
3. Active Shooter Drill
a. Active Shooter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VcSweiU2DO&feature=player embedded
- A reminder the active shooter drill paperwork must be completed by March 31, 2021.
- The video link above is a good resource for the committee members.
- We recommend that the safety committee send out the YouTube video to their teams after the active shooter drill as
part of the training.
- Once completed, the paperwork can go to Paula in HR.
4. Experience Mod
- We are happy to share that our Ex Mod rate, a rate determined by the amount of work related injuries we have, has
once again decreased.
- In 2019, our Ex Mod rate was 181%, in 2020, our rate was 162% and in 2021, our rate will be 133%.
- We are headed in the right direction and we want to congratulate and thank all of the members of the safety
committee for all their work.
- We would like to know how you want to be recognized for this amazing accomplishment.
- Among the suggestions was gift cards, a personalized card or recognition from the Board, using the money we save
with Zenith to start a wellness program, a day off, or an extra -long lunch.
- Joyce will bring these ideas to the Executive Team meeting on Monday.
5. Reopening Plans
a. Safety Committee - will use as point of contact
- As more employees receive the vaccine, we will be working on reopening plans for the organization.
- Our goal in mind is to reopen to our clients in the safest way possible while following county guidelines for
reopening.
- HR will be asking our safety committee members to be the point of contact for new reopening information in their
counties.
- During the round table discussion (below) each member of the safety committee shared COVID-19 information and
updates about the county where they work.
