Round Table Discussion
- Lily Aman —Stockton ASET Center - San Joaquin County is currently in the purple tier. Businesses and churches are
open at 25% capacity. Schools will be opening on March 31 for k— 6th grade. San Joaquin County may go to red tier
by the mid-March 8. There are a lot of places open for vaccinations now. Stockton ASET is following all the right
precautions and continuing to stay safe during the pandemic. No incidents of COVID with employees or students
right now.
- MaryVang - Sacramento— Sacramento County remains in the purple tier. Preschool through 6th grade will be going
back to school in the beginning of April. Businesses and restaurants are following purple tier requirements. Everyone
in the Sacramento office is doing well and following all precautions.
- Juanita Estrella—Lakeport— Lake County is also in the purple tier. Juanita is currently seeing clients one-on-one but
carefully taking precautions. Lake County has various places open for vaccines.
- Alejandra Mata — Lodi — San Joaquin County is in the purple tier and may be moving to the red tier soon. Continuing
to take precautions in the Lodi office as needed. Some employees have received vaccines, but a lot of them are
waiting to receive it. Alejandra asked how we could become a priority when it comes to the vaccine. Others such as
healthcare workers and older people are still the priority for vaccination, so we are still waiting for our turn to receive
it.
- Shira Singerman —Stonehouse — Santa Rosa is also in the purple tier. For Stonehouse, that means that they are still
on "lockdown" and they can only go out in case of an emergency. Because they are a congregate living environment,
they have to be extreme about their measures to prevent the spread of COVID. Sylvie Vatinelle is working with the
county. If the Sonoma County area moves into a different tier, we will be staying in touch with her to see how this
will affect Stonehouse and its clients.
Moriah Perez —Yuba/Sutter ASET Center — The Yuba City area is still in the purple tier as well. Businesses are open at
limited capacity. People in the office are following precautions.
- Cora Gonzalez — Ukiah — Mendocino county is still in purple tier as well. People are being vaccinated and doing their
best to keep following protocols.
Berenice Torres -Contreras — Healdsburg DLC— No other news for the Healdsburg area about a reopening, but
Berenice is staying in communication with the city about a Saturday reopening. Fulton is more complicated as they
are more stringent about the reopening. Encouraging farmworkers to be vaccinated and attempting to be vaccinated
via the county at the office as well.
- Victor Solomon/Jaswinder Sandhu —Mahal —Yuba County is still in the purple tier. No one in the office has been able
to be vaccinated yet, but staff is attempting to as they are in closer contact with the tenants. Some tenants have
received their vaccination.
Maria Gonzalez —Santa Rosa Central — We are doing well at central. Some people have received their vaccination,
but most are waiting for their turn to receive the vaccination.
