The SPCC plan must be amended within 6 months whenever there is a change in facility <br /> design,construction, operation, or maintenance that materially affects the facility's spill <br /> potential. The SPCC plan must be reviewed at least once every 5 years and amended to <br /> include more effective prevention and control technology, if such technology will significantly <br /> reduce the likelihood of a spill event and has been proven in the field. All such amendments <br /> must be re-certified by a professional engineer(PE). <br /> If the owners and operators of a facility that are required to prepare an SPCC plan and are not <br /> required to submit a Facility Response Plan, the SPCC plan should include a signed <br /> certification form,provided as page 2 (per Appendix C to 40 CFR 112). <br /> 1 -I <br /> 8 May 2017 <br />
