dedicated secondary containment for each of the tanks(see Proposed Schedule of 01
Modifications at the front of this Plan.)
Two Biosol Mixing Tanks
There is no dedicated secondary containment provided for each of the Biosol mixing tanks
(100 and 200 gallons each). The Biosol mixing tanks are located indoors. The building
provides secondary containment for each AST, and the tanks are located downgradient of the
property fenceline and at a distance that a release of the entire tank's contents should not be
able to discharge offsite to a surface water body.
The facility elected to provide dedicated secondary containment for the tanks(see Proposed
Schedule of Modifications at the front of this Plan.)
Curbing,n-112.7(c)(1)(ii)
Curbing is not utilized as a containment or diversionary structure for oil storage at this
facility except as noted in Table 2.
Culverts, Gutters, or Other Drainage- 112.7(c)(1)(iii)
Drainage within the lower level of the manufacturing portion of the building is engineered so
that the drainage flows into an oil/water separator located in this area of the facility. Minor
spills on the upper and lower levels of the manufacturing area would be cleaned up or flow to
and be contained by the oil/water separator system.
Weirs, Booms, or Other Barriers-112.7(c)(I)(iv)
The following equipment is maintained at the facility for response to and containment in the
event of a release: forklifts, fire extinguishers, barricades, portable generator and lights,
portable sump, shovels and brooms,two-way radios, front-end loaders, and booms.
Spill Diversion Ponds-112.7(c)(1)(v)
Spill diversion ponds are not utilized at the facility as containment or diversionary structures.
Retention Ponds- 112.7 0(1)(00
The facility maintains retention ponds for storm water management onsite. The retention
ponds are not devoted to providing secondary containment for the oil ASTs.
24 May 2017
