• Cooling tower chemicals are stored in the vicinity of the cooling towers, within a <br />protective shed. There are no storm sewers located in the vicinity of these chemicals <br />and any spills will be cleaned. <br />• Tin ash from fume hoods is mixed with water outside, on the northeast side of the <br />building, which converts the ash to a slurry. <br />• Checker carry-over dust is removed from the furnaces during repair projects. An <br />outside contractor performs the handling and disposal of this material, and none of <br />this material is stored onsite for a prolonged time period. <br />• Material safety data sheets (MSDS) for oil and other substances stored or used at the <br />facility are maintained at the facility and are readily available. <br />August 2016 <br />
