The bags shall be securely tied to prevent
leakage or expulsion of liquid waste during storage, handling or
transport".
There are several types of resin blends when manufacturing polyethylene
film. A bag for instance, of 3 or 4 mil, may have less resistance to
tearing and fracturing than a 1 mil bag. The new technologies today
provide us more control over our quality when manufacturing polyethylene
film. We use virgin resins when manufacturing our Red Infectious Waste
bags; therefore, we feel confident that our 1.5 mil bags are equivalent in
strength, based on our resin blend, to a 3-4 mil bag made of inferior
quality resin.
Attached you will find our minimum Dart impact requirements for all of
our Red Infectious Waste bags.
If I can be of any service to you in the future, feel free to call me.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
_, C
/Ohn E.
