Complaint Investigation Summary Report #: 5105 <br />COMPLAINT ID: C0004CNOS Site Location: 12700 S HARLAN RD <br />Activity Summary <br />Activity Date <br />04/16/2021 <br />Recorded by <br />Called DTSC Duty Officer at 916-255-6504 and spoke with Carlos Ortega. Asked BAKER <br />if they would be willing to do the clean-up of the area. Carlos Ortega said he would <br />call me back after speaking with his supervisor. Carlos Ortega returned the call <br />and said they do not do hydrocarbon spills. <br />Called City of Lathrop Public Works at 209-941-7430 and spoke with Christina. <br />Discussed what happened and let her know the City of Lathrop is responsible for <br />the clean-up since it is on their property. She said she will call me back. Christine <br />called me back and asked for further details about the spill. She said she would <br />let me know if public works or the fire department will be conducting the clean up. <br />Completed site map. Turned in Prop 65 to Elena Manzo (Lead Sr. REHS) for <br />review. <br />Called City of Lathrop Public Works to get an update. Christina was on lunch and <br />will call me back. <br />Christina returned my call and the Director of Public Works, Micheal, is working <br />with the fire department to get the area cleaned up. They will notify EHD when the <br />clean-up will happen. <br />Wrote Notice to Abate. Emailed Notice to Abate to Michael King (Director of <br />Public Works) at website_pwk@ci.lathrop.ca.us <br />Spoke with Larry Muroski of Lathrop/Manteca Fire regarding spill. Clean-up will be <br />completed on 4/19/21 by Safety Kleen. <br />charge to non-charge-lb 7/1/21 <br />BAKER 04/19/2021 Received call from Chief Larry Murdoski at 209-851-5403 that clean-up is <br />completed and ready to be verified. Went to site. Clean-up is complete. <br />Impacted area was excavated approximately 18 inches deep at the most covering <br />an area of 10x30 feet. Four confirmation samples were taken in the most <br />impacted area. Results will be back in three days. Waste generated was placed <br />in a 20 yard roll off. Called David Alves and left a <br />message.
