TER FEATURE SPECIFICATION NOTES <br />The Installer shall be responsible to purchase water feature components, as well <br />as providing labor and materials required effecting the installation of the <br />operational systems as detailed in the Plans and Specifications. <br />The prime water feature Installer shall furnish electrical components to the <br />electrical Installer for installation and connection. <br />One manufacturer shall supply electrical and mechanical water feature <br />components in order to ensure the integrity of the water feature design. <br />The water feature equipment shall be as designed and manufactured by <br />Fountain People, Inc., P.O. Box 807, 4600 Hwy 123 East, San Marcos, TX <br />78666. <br />Substitution of water feature materials shall require written approval by the <br />Architect. Installers offering substitutions shall submit three copies of the <br />following data at least ten working days prior to the bid date for review and <br />approval: <br />1. Complete water feature system flow diagram. <br />2. Complete water feature electrical control panel ladder logic diagrams. <br />3. A complete bill of materials along with specification cuts of proposed <br />substitute items. <br />4. A written description of the water feature's operational cycle. <br />5. A written performance guarantee by the alternate system manufacturer <br />certifying that the alternate system will meet the specified performance <br />requirements. <br />Failure to submit for prior approval of substitutions will be grounds for rejection. <br />With ten working days of award of contract, Installer shall submit five copies of <br />manufacturers' detailed data sheets and submittal drawings of water feature <br />components for approval prior to installation. <br />Upon completion of the project, Installer shall provide three copies of Owner's <br />Operation and Maintenance manuals.
